Stainless steel has quietly taken over the hardest-working corners of the modern home. It sits under the wet dish rack, holds the gas cylinder beside the stove, carries laundry through months of afternoon rain, and forms the prep surface where raw food is handled daily. The categories that take the most punishment are the familiar ones: sink racks, clothes and drying hangers, gas cylinder racks, multipurpose storage racks and kitchen work tables.

But a product list tells you very little on its own. Two racks can look identical on a shelf, cost twice as much apart, and behave completely differently after a year beside a kitchen sink. Radio - A brief information and history

With the help of a radio, it is possible for people to convey their messages from one place to the other without any problems or issues. What is a two-way radio?

Mostly people are aware of radio as a device through which they can get to receive information but they are unable to send back the information through it. However, this does not mean that information cannot be transferred to and from the radio from one person to the other. A two-way radio is a device, which does not only allow the person to receive information through it but also be able to transmit or send out information through this device as well. This is done if the radios being used are similar in their features and operations and have the same radio frequency. One of the most common and mostly used examples of a two-way radio is the walkietalkies, which are also known as hand-held radios and could allow immediate transfer of information to take place.

History of short wave radio

A short wave radio might have features that are not present in other types of radios. For example, in order to communicate through this radio, the person is required to use the high frequency (HF) section completely and the upper part of the MF or medium frequency. This means the length of the waves released ranges from around 1800 kHz to 30,000 kHz. Just as the name suggests, the length of the waves released and received through this radio is shorter in nature and are around 200 meters in length. They were first discovered in December 1921 and in 1922, when an experiment was conducted, it was found that at a distance of 200 meters through these short waves, there were around hundreds of people who were heard by those who were experimenting on making this radio successful. They soon gained popularity and even more people got involved in its growth and development. Marconi was even able to transmit signals from around 32 meters and even now, this is an important discovery.
